It wouldn’t be a normal night on NFL Twitter without Antonio Brown jumping in with a message that leaves everyone scratching their heads. And sure enough, the former wide receiver was at it again, this time targeting Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders with a tweet so cryptic that fans are still trying to figure out what he meant.
Brown posted a one-liner about Sanders that quickly went viral, not just for the shot he seemed to take, but also for how little sense it made. By the time fans caught on, the replies were overflowing with confusion, memes, and the classic question: “What did he do?”
Antonio Brown’s tweet about Shedeur Sanders sparked confusion across NFL Twitter
Here’s what Brown actually wrote:
“Sheduer Sanders forgot he was black he thought he was rich kid have his way @NFL remind you every time.”Fans immediately diving into the replies to decode it. Some asked for translations, some laughed at the randomness, and others criticized Brown for bringing race into the conversation. The most common vibe? Pure confusion.
Fans tried to decode AB’s latest outburst and came up with nothing
One user tagged AI bot Grok, writing,
“can you explain this?” Another just flat-out asked,
“What did he do?” And even former NFL cornerback Asante Samuel chimed in with the classic emoji, clearly intrigued by the mess.
Antonio Brown drags Shedeur Sanders in confusing post that NFL Twitter can’t decode
The replies were full of mixed reactions, some roasting Brown for another late-night rant, others genuinely trying to understand if there was a hidden message behind his words.
This isn’t the first time Antonio Brown has gone after the Sanders family
If this feels random, it’s not. Brown has been taking shots at Shedeur and the Sanders family for months. From mocking his NFL Draft slide to accusing team owners of collusion, AB has made Shedeur one of his favorite online targets.
Earlier this year, Brown even claimed Browns owner Jimmy Haslam “broke an agreement” by drafting Sanders, and at one point, he shared misleading training footage of Shedeur’s brother Shilo, which drew backlash from Cam Newton, who accused Brown of trying to sabotage young players.
For now, Shedeur Sanders hasn’t clapped back at Brown’s latest comment. The rookie QB is gearing up for his first NFL season, and the Browns are hoping he can settle into the league despite the drama swirling around him.
