Kylie Kelce has never been one to hold back, and as she prepares to welcome her fourth child with husband Jason Kelce, she is making it crystal clear that no one has the right to judge how a woman brings a baby into the world. In a fiery discussion on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the soon-to-be mother of four addressed the relentless criticism women receive for their birth choices—especially those who opt for epidurals or C-sections.
Kylie Kelce fiercely defends women's birth choices
Kylie didn’t hesitate to call out those who claim that medicated births aren’t “true” birth experiences. Reflecting on her own birth plan, which includes an epidural, she joked, “I just want a fat needle in my back.” But beyond the humor, she made it clear that dismissing epidural-assisted births as less valid is both ignorant and misleading.
“People who dismiss birth with an epidural as being not a true birth experience, I can promise you from the bottom of my heart, I felt every part of labor,” she stated firmly.

Kelce’s remarks highlight a persistent stigma that many women face when choosing pain relief during labor. The notion that an unmedicated birth is somehow superior fails to acknowledge that labor, regardless of how it unfolds, is an intense, transformative experience that is unique to each mother.
C-Sections are not up for debate
Kelce’s frustration was particularly evident when she addressed criticism surrounding C-sections. Over the weekend, she had come across an overwhelming number of comments from people claiming that women who undergo C-sections—whether emergency or planned—don’t actually experience birth. That notion, in her eyes, is completely absurd.
“The person you’re speaking to just grew a human being, and for whatever reason that little baby needed to come out the front, not the bottom,” she declared. “You know whose business that is? Not fucking yours.”
“I’m trying to be nice,” Kelce added. “No, never mind. Go fuck yourself. You can kindly fuck right off.”
Her passionate response didn’t stop there. She emphasized that a C-section is not only a legitimate birth experience but also a major surgical procedure that comes with its own set of challenges. “Abdominal surgery to get out the human life that they just built. I can’t believe that people say that. That is horrific. I dare you to say that within earshot of me.”
Kelce’s perspective is deeply personal, as she herself was born via C-section due to her larger size. Reflecting on that, she challenged those who believe her mother, Lisa McDevitt, didn’t truly experience childbirth. “You think that when I was 12 pounds, 1 ounce, and I had to come out the front on my 5-foot-2 mother that she didn’t experience birth? I will kick your a-- in honor of (my mother).”
Her words underscore a bigger issue: the constant policing of women’s bodies and choices, particularly when it comes to childbirth. She concluded with a simple yet powerful statement: “I feel like we appropriately did this. I hope everyone gets their birth plan however they would like it, including me.”
