A Glimpse into Brady's Auction Tie-Up with Sotheby's

Brady is going to showcase his collection at a Sotheby's auction called "The Goat Collection," scheduled for December 10. He recently teased some of the items to be auctioned through an Instagram reel with Sotheby's, saying, "I have been so blessed to have had such an amazing ride in my career, and these watches and collectibles really capture those unforgettable moments and all the hard work behind them.".

Treasure of Great Value: Brady's Custom Audemars Piguet Watch

The leading lot of the sale is Brady's custom-made Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. It is estimated in the range of $400,000 to 800,000. The watch becomes special because of the engraving of a blue Roman numeral VII into it, signifying seven Super Bowl victories that Brady grabbed throughout his career. But this isn't the only interesting lot within the auction.

Superstar Jersey and Game Card Wristband Available for Auction

Other items include the last jersey worn by Brady for the Michigan Wolverines, which features his win over Alabama in the Orange Bowl. The one is supposed to sell between $300,000 and $500,000. A wristband worn by Brady during the greatest comeback in Super Bowl LI history, the piece is also available for sale, conservatively placed in the range of $120,000 to $180,000. Speaking about his enthusiasm, Brady said,
"I'm excited to give fans and collectors a chance to own and cherish these special pieces from my journey, just like I have."

Competing with Legends: Michael Jordan's Successful Auction

For the sports memorabilia enthusiast, it is a rare opportunity to own part of Brady's legacy. But Brady is hardly the first sports icon to cash in on his memorabilia; NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan auctioned off six pairs of championship-day Air Jordan sneakers for about $8 million a few years ago. As Brady wades into the world of sports collectibles, he becomes part of a small, select brotherhood of athletes who have successfully navigated this high-margin highway.
