That’s where Trevor Lawrence finds himself now, after the Jacksonville Jaguars saw their season end in the wild-card round against the Buffalo Bills. For Jaguars fans, the loss was frustrating. Jacksonville won 13 games, showed real growth, and entered the postseason with momentum. Expectations were high, especially for Lawrence, who continues to carry the weight of being the franchise quarterback. But once the season ended, the focus shifted quickly from football to something far more personal.

With his offseason officially underway, Lawrence has been spending his time with his wife, Marissa Lawrence, and their daughter, Shae Lawrence. Over the past few days, Marissa has shared small, everyday moments on Instagram that show a quieter side of life after football. One of those moments came during a simple family walk. Marissa posted a candid photo of Lawrence pushing a baby stroller with Shae bundled inside. No game lights, no crowd noise, just a dad out with his daughter. She kept the caption short and added a blue heart emoji. “Cold walks with dad,” she wrote.
In another Instagram story, Marissa shared a video of Shae pushing her own stroller, this one carrying a stuffed toy. It was playful and ordinary, the kind of moment most parents recognize instantly. Again, the caption was brief. “Pushing Mr. Piggy around,” she wrote.
The posts offered a contrast to the intensity of the season that just ended. Jacksonville had a strong regular year, but the playoff loss stopped their run abruptly. Lawrence played all 17 games and finished the season with 4,007 passing yards, but like every quarterback, his year is judged heavily by how it ends.
Earlier this month, Marissa also shared a longer, more emotional message as the season wrapped up. Alongside a series of photos, she reflected on the work she saw behind the scenes and the pride she felt watching her husband. “Not how we wanted the season to end but I’m so incredibly proud of this team and of our guy! Trev I have watched you put countless hours into studying. I have watched you work so hard not just in season but off and seen the way you constantly want to be better and show up for this city and team. I couldn’t think of a better man for the job. I love you so much and I’m so proud of the man you are! Jacksonville we love you and it’s only the beginning,” she wrote.
Marissa also shared a photo of herself and Shae wearing matching white hoodies with Lawrence’s No. 16 printed in blue. The couple, married since 2021, welcomed their daughter in January 2025 and recently celebrated her first birthday.
