Jason Kelce Picks Eagles Over Brother Travis Kelce in Potential Super Bowl Showdown – Travis Calls It ‘Bullsh*t

On the New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, were found debating playfully over family loyalty versus team loyalty. A simple question from a fan loaded the dice: "If the Chiefs play the Eagles in the Super Bowl next year, who are you gonna be rooting for?" Jason’s answer did not sit well with brother Travis, and his response to him was epic.

Jason Chose Loyalty to His Team Over Brotherhood

As impassioned as it was predictable to anyone familiar with his deep roots in Philadelphia, Jason's response was to exclaim, "I will root for the Eagles, of course, because I will always be an Eagle." His answer, however, was not enough to appease Travis, the Chiefs' star tight end, who shot back quickly with a sharp, "That's bulls*it!”


Jason doubled down, adding, "I have always been an Eagle," only for Travis to interrupt again with another "Such bulls*it!" The back-and-forth was lighthearted yet revealed the strong ties both brothers have to their respective teams.


Jason did, however, throw his brother a small olive branch. “I’ll also root for Travis to have a good game, of course, because he’s my brother. But no, I’ll definitely be cheering for the Eagles.”


In true Travis Kelce fashion, he capped off the moment with a witty quip: “Good luck to your Eagles.”

Family or Football?

This conversation just about sums up the Kelce brothers: teammates and competitors on the field, but teammates at heart off it. Jason, of course, is a die-hard Eagles fan in light of having been with the team for nearly 13 years and being an all-time legend in Philadelphia. Travis, for his part, has become one of the all-time great tight ends in NFL history and has earned multiple rings.


Fans of both the Chiefs and Eagles couldn't get enough of the playful banter, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts. Some sided with Jason, applauding his loyalty, while others couldn't help but laugh at Travis's mock outrage.


There is one sure thing: Kelce brothers will always have banter with one another and continue to show fan-favorite affection for each other on and off the field.
