Jason Whitlock, host of "Fearless with Jason Whitlock," brought up three famous NFL head coaches while discussing top NFL reporter Dianna Russini recently:
50-year-old New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, 54-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, and 40-year-old Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay.
Whitlock cited sports analyst Tony Farmer’s observation of a 2020 X [formerly Twitter] post by ESPN’s Steve Levy as the link to this connection.
Jason Whitlock mentions Mike Vrabel, Mike Tomlin, and Sean McVay while discussing Dianna Russini
Back in Oct. 2020, ESPN’s Steve Levy praised sportscaster Samantha Ponder for noticing Dianna Russini’s business. Russini had landed an interview with two NFL head coaches, Mike Vrabel and Mike Tomlin, on a single Sunday morning during strict COVID-19 restrictions, when even one was impossible for others.
After this declaration, Jason Whitlock goes on to mention fast-food restaurant chains and likens them to Dianna Russini along with the three aforementioned NFL coaches.
Whitlock praised Steve Levy for making a great point. But suggested an alternative tweet:
“Congratulations to Dianna Russini for landing both of those interviews. All due respect to Dianna Russini: it’s like, if you catch Jason Whitlock eating at McDonald’s, it’s fair to assume that he also eats at Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Carl’s Jr., KFC, Popeyes, and all the rest.
There she is at McDonald’s [when Dianna Russini’s alleged photos from the Sedona luxury hotel with Mike Vrabel appeared on screen]. What Steve Levy is saying is, don't be surprised if she also likes to hit the Wendy’s drive-thru.
And maybe Mike Tomlin owns a Wendy’s in Pittsburgh. Maybe Sean McVay owns a Chick-fil-A in Los Angeles. That’s what he seems to be pointing out more than anything.”
Now, correlating Dianna Russini with top-tier NFL head coaches via fast food chains could also mean Jason Whitlock was trying to add more fuel to her alleged photos with Mike Vrabel at a Sedona luxury hotel.
Or it could also be stemming from his previous observation of Dianna Russini where he comes across the M*#F word.
Former FOX Sports Radio host Jason Whitlock shares Dianna Russini’s confession
Back in mid-April 2026, when the whole world was digging up dirt on Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel, Jason Whitlock found something. Whitlock started his “Fearless with Jason Whitlock” show’s discussion by saying, “She’s told you what she’s here to do in this life.”
The renowned sports columnist dug up Dianna Russini’s presence on a radio broadcast [BMitch & Finlay show] where she is reportedly heard saying, “I told your producer that I don’t want to be introduced; now, I don’t want to be an insider. I don’t want to be Scoop City podcast host. I just want to be M*#F. Just straight up M*#F.”
After sharing this little footage, Jason Whitlock said, “Now, that’s a confession. Any woman that’s going on a radio broadcast and joking and saying, ‘Hey, don’t call me an NFL insider. Don’t call me this. Call me M*#F.’ She’s confessing.”
Podcast host Jason Whitlock captioned this video on X as:
Dianna Russini went on some radio show and said she wanted to be introduced as a M*#F rather than an NFL insider. That’s a confession of her true aspirations.Former Kansas City Star sports columnist Jason Whitlock comments on Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini
In his latest X clip, Jason Whitlock talks about Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel. Whitlock claims that Mike Vrabel returned to work on Monday because "his wife [Jen Vrabel] has told him she's done. Because this thing with Dianna Russini, much deeper than just a wh**, b**, th**k you, m*'*m."
Whitlock notes that Russini tried to lift Vrabel's spirits during his rough patch in Tennessee. "She's sending playlists to Mike Vrabel, trying to help him cope during a four-game losing streak when he was with Tennessee. This thing with Vrabel and Russini is just way too deep for Vrabel to dig out from underneath," said Whitlock.
Jason Whitlock is curious to know what ends sooner: Mike Vrabel's marriage or New England coaching tenure?
Jason Whitlock likens Mike Vrabel's wife Jen Vrabel to Tony Soprano's wife Carmela Soprano
"Did you see the picture of Jen Vrabel with her wedding ring still on? H*ly C*w, she's a ride or die with Mike Vrabel," said Jason Whitlock. "I gotta apologize, I had this marriage over and out, and now it makes me think Jen Vrabel, she reminds me of my favorite wife in the history of television, in the history of cinema and movies, Carmela Soprano.
I've had a long-time, 20-year, 25-year crush on Carmela Soprano. Ride or die with Tony Soprano. When Christopher nearly got killed, Carmela went to the hospital and prayed for him and saved his life. Carmela, attractive, ride or die, put up with all of Tony's BS. My favorite wife in television, in movie history.
Congratulations to Mike Vrabel and Jen Vrabel. Mike you got yourself a real Carmela Soprano. Hats off to you."
Renowed sports columnist Jason Whitlock is talking about the characters from The Sopranos, an American crime drama television series.
According to Jason Whitlock, Carmela Soprano endured endless drama when she was married to Tony Soprano. It could relate to Jen Vrabel because she faces a constant stream of headlines about her husband, Mike. TMZ recently dropped fresh footage related to Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel [rental private boat]. One has to wonder: Is Jen Vrabel a real-life Carmela Soprano, if we go by Jason Whitlock's logic? Only time will tell...
