The former MLB pitcher Patrick Lavon Mahomes Sr., father of the Kansas City Chiefs NFL star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was way too joyous for his son’s team to reach the destination of Super Bowl LIX! He couldn’t contain his overblown excitement, so he took to his X and notified his 27K followers with a little riot of exciting notifications!

Patrick Mahomes Sr. is the proudest father of the NFL star quarterback. At the AFC Championship game, his son's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, defeated the Buffalo Bills on January 26, 2025. His son, Patrick Mahomes, was one of the game leaders, with 18 of 26 passes for 245 yards and 1 TD.


Therefore, Mahomes Sr. wrote on his X, “Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo”. Translation: Buffalo Bills lost the AFC Championship and Mahomes Sr. is glad he’s not from Buffalo! But from Kansas, who won!
