In a snowy Thursday night clash at Huntington Bank Field, the Cleveland Browns took down the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19 in a game that was as intense as it was dramatic. Myles Garrett delivered a performance for the ages, cementing his status as the NFL's premier edge rusher. With three sacks, three tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits, Garrett showcased his dominance, while the Browns' offensive line successfully neutralized Steelers’ defensive powerhouse, T.J. Myles Garrett takes center stage

The Cleveland Browns delivered a thrilling 24-19 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in a snow-filled showdown at Huntington Bank Field on Thursday night. Myles Garrett solidified his claim as the NFL's top edge rusher, dominating with three sacks, three tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits. Meanwhile, the Browns' offensive line played an impressive role, keeping Steelers' star T.J. Watt away from Jameis Winston all night.

The matchup between Garrett and Watt had fans buzzing, especially since both players had won two of the last three Defensive Player of the Year awards. Watt, notably, had voiced frustration over Garrett's win last season. Before the game, Garrett made it clear that he was ready to stake his claim as the NFL's premier defender, even suggesting Watt owed him an apology for a February tweet.

On the field, Garrett celebrated his dominant performance with an imaginary crown after one of his sacks, adding fuel to the rivalry. Post-game, Garrett didn't hold back when asked about his standing in the league.

"I'm number one," Garrett told Amazon Prime's Kayleigh Hartung. "And you know that's from defender one to edge one to Defensive Player of the Year. I'm the guy. So that runs through me. There's no other person being defended as I am. Or schemed or planned against like I am. So it just goes to show you know you can throw it out the window. I'm going to find a way." (via: SI)

In his press conference, Garrett made his case even clearer. "I wanted to make it known that I’m the guy. I’m number one, you know, edge defender. That was a statement I was intending to make and I think I made."

It’s clear: Myles Garrett is staking his claim at the top of the NFL’s defensive rankings.
