A Los Angeles star from Philadelphia, the late Kobe Bryant was a huge fan of the NFL. And in particular, a huge fan of the NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Back in 2018, when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl, the NBA legend had the best reaction watching the team win on television. Now the Eagles have their second Super Bowl title, but unfortunately, we lost Kobe to a tragic accident. Chances are though, that Kobe Bryant is still just as happy watching the team from up above as he was the first time around.
Kobe Bryant was ecstatic after the Philadelphia Eagles' first Super Bowl win
Back in 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles faced the New England Patriots and defeated the favorites of the season with a 41-33 score to win their first Super Bowl title. One person, who was overjoyed to see the team win, was none other than NBA legend Kobe Bryant. He was seen jumping in excitement and running around the room with his daughter in his arms, while Vanessa took a video of them, sharing in his happiness.
The Bryant family has had close ties with the world of the NFL. Before the tragic accident that took the lives of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, the NBA star was frequently seen at games, cheering for his favorites, most of the time, the Eagles. And even now, Vanessa and their daughters can be seen during games, cheering for their favorite teams.
Philadelphia Eagles have just won their second-ever Super Bowl title
This was the second time the Eagles faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs for a
Super Bowl. The last time they came across each other, the Chiefs won the game 38-35. This year they were on the verge of making Super Bowl history; had they won this, the Chiefs would have been the only team in NFL history to have won three consecutive Super Bowl titles. But the Eagles were there to shatter their dreams with a praiseworthy performance.
With a score of 40-22, the Philadelphia Eagles took home the Super Bowl title with their hard work, grit, and determination. After their bitter defeat back in 2023, this was a sweet moment of relief and joy when the final whistle blew. The Eagles' star quarterback, Jalen Hurts, took home the MVP of the season award, and the team was overjoyed after the win. Had Kobe Bryant still been here, he would surely have been just as happy for the team as he was back in 2018.
