Netflix released the trailer for the documentary Enigma, which focuses on Aaron Rodgers's Achilles tendon recovery and his private life insights

Netflix's "Enigma" series, premiering on December 17, will give a behind-the-scenes look at Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Jets. The trailer is under two minutes long and will be aired during Rodgers' weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show." The series will examine all the headlines about Rodgers' career and how he's doing with the Jets.

The trailer also featured Rodgers, face painted red, drinking Ayahuasca. He was photographed hiking with former presidential candidate and President-elect Donald Trump's pick to run the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr., discussing thoughts of "going into politics.”

Aaron Rodgers's comeback season with the New York Jets hasn't gone well, as the team stands at 3-9. Though he struggled all along in the season, Aaron Rodgers is likely to be in the limelight for a longer time. On Tuesday, Netflix has come out with the first trailer of the upcoming documentary, Enigma, which would be about quarterback Aaron Rodgers's recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon and offer a glimpse into his private life.

The trailer showcases Rodgers's life, including his football journey, recovery from Achilles injury, and spiritual life. It also includes a conversation with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about Rodgers's potential future in politics, and includes footage of his spiritual journey. “I live between two worlds of the extraverted and an introverted lever of silence,” the New York Jets quarterback said in the teaser trailer ahead of the three-part series’ release on Tuesday, December 17. “Losing friendships, family, it was heartbreaking.”

Rodgers has been estranged from his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, and his brothers Luke and Jordan for nearly a decade, a strain that became public in 2016 when Jordan appeared on The Bachelorette, discussing his brother's absence. Rodgers has been rumored to be dating model Mallory Edens, daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens. They were last seen together during an Ed Sheeran concert in June 2023, but their relationship has long been speculated about. His rift with his parents has often been discussed, and ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick showed his childhood devotion to the church.

The trailer for Enigma will showcase Rodgers' journey to spirituality, in addition to delving into his relationships. “I started my spiritual journey … everything shifted,” he told cameras. While drinking an unspecified drink from a bowl, Rodgers added, “The metamorphosis is happening. I’m trying to find what a new edge is.”
