There is, however, one concern that continues to follow him. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Pavia measured under 5-foot-10. That has made some teams hesitant, especially those that prefer prototypical size at the position. Still, the Panthers might not view this as a major issue.


Carolina already starts Bryce Young, who faced similar questions about size before entering the league. The franchise has shown it values traits like accuracy, decision-making, and poise over physical measurements alone. In that sense, Pavia fits the mould of a developmental option that could thrive in the right system.
