Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are opening a new steakhouse called 1587 Prime in Kansas City. It will open on September 17, 2025, at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. Jackson Mahomes, Patrick’s younger brother, went early and gave us a sneak peek. He shared pictures of tasty dishes on his Instagram story, so we got a look before the doors officially open.
Jackson Mahomes gives us a first taste of 1587 Prime
Jackson Mahomes stopped by 1587 Prime and shared photos of what he saw. First, he showed a grilled bread appetizer with what looked like whipped ricotta, fresh herbs, and a drizzle of olive oil. Then there was a dish that looked like thin slices of raw fish, maybe hamachi or yellowtail dressed in chili oil.
Next, he shared drinks. One was green with a lime wheel and a flower could be a twist on a margarita or mojito. The other was creamy, named
“QUEEN B,” and seemed sweet.
For the main dishes, Jackson showed a grilled steak, maybe a filet or ribeye. He also had a big cheeseburger with fries and dipping sauces. There was creamy fettuccine Alfredo, buttery mashed potatoes with herbs, and even fried chicken served in a unique metal cone with chive garnish.

1587 Prime is a team effort. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce teamed up with Noble 33, a top restaurant group, to bring it to life. The name
“1587” mixes their jersey numbers (15 for Mahomes, 87 for Kelce). The restaurant spans 10,000 square feet across two floors at the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City.
Chef Ryan Arnold crafted a bold, upscale menu featuring high-end steaks like Wagyu and Tomahawk, inventive sides like truffle-injected twice-baked potatoes, and playful nods to Mahomes and Kelce think
“Mahomes Ketchup Flight”. Drinks are creative too, with options named for team history (“Showtime,” “Big Yeti”) and pop culture (“Queen B,” “The Alchemy,” the latter a sweet nod to Taylor Swift).
Reservations opened on August 20, and fans snapped them up fast. Now, everyone is just two days away from stepping into one of Kansas City’s most talked-about new restaurants just in time for Patrick Mahomes’ 30th birthday on opening night.
