Wedding talk around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is picking up pace again. Reports hint at a possible date, and fans are tracking every move. But just as the excitement builds, a viral post gains traction.

The post claims Kelce’s past links to PR-driven relationships, and that has sparked fresh debate online. While the couple remains private, the timing of these claims has led many to question the narrative around the Swift-Kelce romance.

A viral Reddit post, which is now widely circulating, states: “In 2019, Travis Kelce’s publicist said he had previously set up 2 fake relationships to boost his clients’ fame.” The claim traces back to Jack Ketsoyan, who appeared on The Quicky podcast in 2019.


During that interview, Ketsoyan spoke about how PR relationships work in Hollywood. He further explained that such arrangements are sometimes used to shift media focus or promote projects. He even shared an example in which a relationship was arranged to divert attention from a poorly reviewed film to an actor’s personal life.

However, Ketsoyan did not mention Travis Kelce in that interview. The Reddit post links those comments to Kelce based on his current PR connections.

Also, as per the article attached to the Reddit post, Kelce is represented by Full Scope Public Relations, which Ketsoyan co-founded with Pia Malihi in 2022. This connection is what has fueled speculation online about whether his relationship with Taylor Swift could be PR-driven.

The discussion continued after a 2024 controversy. A document described as a breakup “media plan” involving Swift and Kelce surfaced online. Full Scope responded to People, saying the documents were “entirely false and fabricated” and not authorised.

Despite that denial, speculation continued in online spaces. An article attached to the post alluded that influencer QTCinderella claimed in a TikTok video that her make-up artist, who she said knew someone linked to Kelce’s publicist, described the relationship as PR-driven. “She said that it’s a PR relationship,” she claimed, adding that when she asked if it had turned real, the answer was “No.” There is no verified evidence supporting that claim.

Another theory highlighted in the post involves Shamrock Capital. The comment points to its past connection to Swift’s masters, links to the NFL ecosystem, and the timing of the Eras Tour film deal with Disney+. They even highlight that the pop icon was able to repurchase all her masters after going public with Kelce. These points remain speculative and unverified.

Even with the online chatter, focus remains on the wedding. According to Us Weekly, Swift and Kelce are reportedly eyeing June 13 in Rhode Island.

The timing has raised questions. The Kansas City Chiefs have a mandatory minicamp scheduled from June 9 to 11, leaving a short window before the reported date.

However, that timeline is not confirmed. A planner linked to the Ocean House venue publicly denied being involved in Swift’s wedding for that weekend. At the same time, Kylie Kelce said on her April 2 podcast that no details are being shared publicly.

Swift herself had said earlier, on The Graham Norton Show in Oct. 2025, that she had not started planning the wedding due to her music schedule.
