NEW DELHI: Derrick Henry's second touchdown, coupled with Nick Folk's decisive extra point, led the Tennessee Titans to a remarkable comeback, overcoming a late 14-point deficit to stun the Miami Dolphins 28-27 in a Monday night thriller at Miami Gardens, Fla. The Titans (5-8) scored 15 points in the final three minutes to secure their first road win in seven attempts this season. Quarterback Will Levis played a crucial role, completing 23 of 38 passes for 327 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. DeAndre Hopkins contributed with seven receptions for 124 yards and a receiving touchdown.
Harold Landry played a pivotal defensive role, recording three sacks, including one on Miami's Tua Tagovailoa on fourth-and-2 with 20 seconds left to seal the stunning upset. Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns in a span of just 60 seconds in the fourth quarter. Tagovailoa finished 23 of 33 for 240 yards, and Zach Sieler scored on an interception return for the Dolphins (9-4).
Despite being without star receiver Tyreek Hill for parts of the game due to a left ankle injury, the Titans mounted an impressive comeback. After falling behind by 14 with 4:34 to play, Tennessee orchestrated two crucial touchdown drives. Levis threw a 3-yard scoring pass to Hopkins, and a two-point conversion brought the Titans within 27-21. Following a defensive stand, Tennessee drove 64 yards on four plays, culminating in Henry's 3-yard touchdown run with 1:49 to go. Folk's extra point put the Titans ahead, and Landry's sack secured the win.
The Dolphins had built a seemingly comfortable lead, taking advantage of two Titans mistakes in the fourth quarter. However, Tennessee's resilience and late-game heroics turned the tide in an electrifying contest.
