After the Steelers beat the Ravens by a point in the 2021 season, a video circulated online during the COVID-19 season. Shared by Steelers Depot on X, it shows two fans bickering, though the cause of the altercation is unknown.Surrounding fans tried to ease the tension. For a moment, when the two fans sat down and looked at the stadium, it seemed the tension had subsided.Then, when another fan offered a beer can, the Ravens fan took it and threw the beer in the Steelers fan’s face. The Steelers fan kept cursing and was seated in the back row. There was no physical violence, and it did not appear anyone was harmed.Jordan Cohn of Audacy Sports reported that it would be unfair to blame either party involved because we don’t know who or what started the hostile encounter, but it is fair to say that all the behavior in the video is deplorable.Now that history has repeated itself, with Pittsburgh beating Baltimore by two points instead of one: the video has resurfaced online and caught significant traction.
