This year, The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the National Football League (NFL) are reportedly collaborating on a custom WWE Championship title featuring Super Bowl 59 branding this weekend in New Orleans. The NFL and WWE have signed a multi-year licensing deal to create NFL-inspired WWE legacy title belts featuring the official branding of all 32 teams. Besides New Orleans has had a long relationship with WWE and has turned host for events like WrestleMania 30 and WrestleMania 34. This begs the question, how many WWE stars will be attending the Super Bowl 59?

Which WWE Star Can We Spot At Super Bowl 59 This Year?

Roman Reigns

It has been reported that the Tribal Chief will be out of action in RAW. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns’ absence was planned to keep him out of the Elimination Chamber and might be a strategy on WWE’s end to protect its top talent from losses. This move comes after Reigns’ heated confrontation with Seth Rollins and CM Punk on Raw, which ended with Rollins hitting him with two brutal Curb Stomps. It’s possible that Reigns will catch the Super Bowl in his downtime considering he is a former football player.

Moreover, he has rooted for the San Francisco 49ers in the past so he clearly keeps tabs on the league’s games and may just end up at the Super Bowl.

Undertaker

The Deadman might actually go see the Super Bowl this year. Texas-based hat maker Ala Ancha Hat Co. has just unveiled the newest piece from Undertaker’s Deadman collection. The wrestling icon is pictured with the designer wearing the creation and the post is captioned “Hanging out with @undertaker as he wears his second creation by yours truly Taker . . Coming to Super Bowl LIX @superbowl.59.”
Fans are speculating whether Undertaker himself will unveil the new line at the Super Bowl this year as promised

John Cena

The 16-time world champion is set to retire this year and his final match is scheduled during WrestleMania 41 in 2025. He recently announced that he will be competing in this year's Elimination Chamber Match to become a 17-time champion. Last year, Netflix's Christmas NFL Event featured Cena alongside CM Punk in a special pre-game show. Naturally, the fans are curious to know if Cena will show up this year as well.

Cena is a Massachusetts native and has been a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots. He was named an honourary captain for the New York Jets. But it’s possible that this year he will be focused on prepping for his big match and could skip the big game.

Jey Uso

Jey Uso just shined at the latest instalment of WWE SmackDown where his performance impressed the WWE fandom. Although he has not talked about Super Bowl this year, it’s no secret that before he was "Main Event" Jey Uso, he was Joshua Fatu, a linebacker who harboured dreams of playing for the NFL. So, he surely keeps tabs on the league’s games but it’s unclear if he will fly to New Orleans so soon after the Wrestlmania event.
