Special Forces operatives assisted Kayla in addressing the social media battles and headlines arising from her former relationship with a football player. “It’s pretty constant and exhausting,” Kayla noted about the backlash. “It doesn’t matter, I could post about the sky being blue and people will have a response about an ex and their new situation. It’s inadvertently affected me to the point where it makes me question my overall value as a person.”
“I think there’s just the comparison and it’s just like on loop,” she continued through tears. “I think I’m still trying to figure out how to deal with it.” Kayla has shared the challenges she has encountered since her breakup with Travis and his subsequent high-profile relationship with Taylor.
“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just online chaos doesn’t impact me,” the model admitted on an October episode of the Unapologetically Angel podcast. “You could go to my most recent post and it’ll be people debating why I’m worthless and how I’ll never be a talented person. I think there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people,” she continued. “And it’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.”
