Trevor Lawrence celebrates daughter Shae’s first birthday with sweet pregame tribute

Trevor Lawrence had more than just football on his mind on Sunday. The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback marked a special personal milestone as he celebrated his daughter Shae’s first birthday in a heartfelt way, even before stepping onto the field.

The moment came on a memorable day for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who sealed the AFC South title with a dominant 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 18 of the NFL regular season.

A special tribute before kickoff

Before arriving for the game at EverBank Stadium, Lawrence caught fans’ attention with a touching gesture. He walked into the stadium wearing a customised T-shirt dedicated to his daughter Shae Lynn, featuring her name and photos printed across the front.



The tribute quickly went viral after the NFL’s official X account shared a video of Lawrence arriving at the venue. Fans flooded social media with praise, calling the moment “dad goals” and applauding the quarterback for putting family first on such a big day.

Once the game began, Lawrence switched focus to football and delivered a standout performance. He completed 22 of 30 passes for 255 yards and threw three touchdown passes, helping the Jaguars secure their eighth straight win.

The victory not only confirmed the AFC South crown but also earned Jacksonville a home playoff game. The Jaguars will now host the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card round.



Lawrence also reached several personal milestones during the game, underlining what has been one of the best seasons of his NFL career after battling injuries last year.

Lawrence and Marissa have been together since their high school days. They got engaged in 2020 at Clemson University, married in 2021, and welcomed Shae in January 2025.
