Tyreek Hill has had an impressive career full of controversies. But in a recent display of commitment and bravery, it has been revealed that he is suffering from a grave injury on his wrist and will need surgery to recover from. Interestingly, Hill has refused to miss any game and will only go for the surgery after the off season ends.
Hill's Pain Management Plan for Week 11
Hill has reportedly spoken to reporters about the injury and how he is managing it and the things he is doing to tolerate the insufferable pain he is going through. Hill also highlighted that the injury might get worse when he is playing on Sunday but he is determined to play for the Dolphins in any case: "I got to gut it out for my team. I'm here, I'm locked in no matter what, no matter how I feel. So even if I've got to cut my wrist off, I'm still out there because I love the game of football." His words explain the high level of toughness and determination that has characterized his career.
Surgery an Option But Hill's Focus Is on the Season
While the medical staff talked of surgery, Hill had other plans in mind. He spoke about how he does not want the surgery now and will think about it after the offseason. For now, the exceptional receiver has to endure the rest of the season with some help from pain management techniques; his team's needs have to take precedence over personal discomfort.
