Fans saw him lift the Stanley Cup just weeks ago. Now, he’s showing off another side in a surprising location. Brad Marchand, the Florida Panthers’ newest star, has been spotted far away from the ice and the internet can’t stop talking about it. His wife Katrina recently posted a playful video that’s making fans smile during this
NHL offseason.
Brad Marchand seen playing table tennis in London, wife Katrina posts sweet clip
On Friday, July 5, 2025, Katrina Marchand posted a short Instagram Story from London, where the Marchand family is currently vacationing. The NHL star, who just helped the Florida Panthers win the 2025 Stanley Cup, was seen playing a casual game of table tennis.
The light-hearted moment happened during their visit to Wimbledon, the famous tennis tournament held each summer in southwest London. Katrina’s video showed Brad Marchand enjoying a fun match against Jock Cooperrider, who works as Director of Sales at Grand Slam Tennis Tours.
Katrina’s caption read: “When you’re at Wimbledon and feel like you can be in the big leagues too.” The fun didn’t stop there. In another clip, the family was seen watching Carlos Alcaraz live in action on the Wimbledon court.
Brad, wearing a stylish knitted cardigan and blue slacks, was seen near the Grand Plaza Kensington Hotel in London’s Kensington area. He seemed relaxed, far from the ice rinks and playoff pressure. The stories show him laughing, exploring the streets, and enjoying time with Katrina and their kids.
Brad Marchand’s Wimbledon trip follows six-year contract with Panthers
Brad Marchand became an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2024–25 NHL season. Fans were unsure whether the longtime Boston Bruins star would continue playing or move to another team. On June 30, 2025, the Florida Panthers signed him to a six-year, $31.5 million deal, with an average of $5.25 million per year.
Panthers General Manager Bill Zito praised Marchand’s leadership and called him “a winner both on and off the ice.” Katrina and Brad flew to London just days after the deal. Their trip was part of a Grand Slam Tennis Tours package, which lets fans attend all four Grand Slam tournaments in luxury.
Another post showed Katrina at “The House,” a private hospitality area close to Wimbledon’s All England Club. It’s where VIP guests enjoy fine dining and take a break between matches.
While Wimbledon headlines focused on Aryna Sabalenka beating Emma Raducanu that day, sharp-eyed fans didn’t miss Brad Marchand sitting in the crowd.
