It was a big day for the young forward for the Montreal Canadiens, Zachary Bolduc, as he scored his first home goals for the team in a big win at the Bell Centre on Thursday.

In the game, the Canadiens beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4–1, and Bolduc had a huge contribution to this win, as he scored twice in front of the home crowd. This home win was a special moment for the Montreal Canadien forward as it took him some 19 games to score his first goal at home.

According to reports, Bolduc netted his first goal by exhibiting a quick one-timer from the slot. He took the chance after receiving a slick pass from his teammate, Cole Caufield. This goal, which came at 14:23 in the first period, was crucial in helping the Canadiens level the score.

Montreal Canadien forward Zachary Bolduc scored his first home goal on Thursday, as the Canadiens played against the Blackhawks at the Bell Centre. Bolduc finally delivered his Bell Centre moment Thursday night, scoring twice in a 4-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Bolduc, who is known for his powerful and accurate shot, joined the Montreal Canadiens on July 1. He had high expectations for himself and the team. Reports suggest that he ended his rookie season strongly with the St. Louis Blues, scoring 13 goals in his final 24 regular-season games, making him believe that he could become an important offensive player for the Canadiens.


After the big win and his first goal, the forward expressed his views, the Montreal Canadien player stated, “It’s a privilege to play here. I grew up as a fan, and I dreamt of playing for this team, and now I have the chance to play here. To score that first goal, it's quite special."

Meanwhile, Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki says Bolduc can thrive in that environment. “He likes the attention, the big market,” he said. “Especially scoring at home, it definitely gave him a relief, so I'm looking forward to more of that for him.”

"He's coming from a different team, different teammates. You come in trying to get acclimated, you're not sure what chair you're going to sit in,” Suzuki said.

Besides, Bolduc’s moment was more special as his historic goal was not only witnessed by his fans and the audience. Bolduc’s path to Thursday’s breakthrough was also witnessed by his mom, dad, brother, and a close friend, who were seen cheering for him in the stands.
