The young daughter of the late Johnny Gaudreau charmed everyone present, sharing a light-hearted moment with Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson. Wearing a Flames jacket, Noa was a bit shy in front of the cameras, but she caught everyone’s attention by sharing two lollipops with Andersson. The moment highlighted the close bond between Andersson and the Gaudreau family, who have been friends since he played with Johnny in Calgary.

During the press conference, Andersson opened up about spending time with Johnny’s wife, Meredith, and their three children—Noa, Johnny Jr., and Carter—just the day before. “It is really special to come out here and see them,” Andersson said. “It fulfills your heart. Especially when you can’t see them on a regular basis, any opportunity that we get to see them we make sure we do.”


The defenseman shared that it had been nearly a year since he last saw the family. ‘They have grown quite a bit, and Carter wasn’t even born last time we were here,’ he said. Andersson’s words showed how close he was to the Gaudreau family and how hockey can create strong, lasting friendships.His visit was a gentle reminder that these bonds last well beyond the rink.
