Recently, OilerAlert took to X to post a video about Leon Draisaitl answering questions about how the team handles “pressure”.
Leon Draisaitl said, "Yeah, of course. The pressure is higher here, of course. Just through media, fans, you know, the expectations. It's just the way it is. It's a hockey country; it starts with hockey, and it ends with hockey in this country. I don't know if teams feel that they get under pressure with that. ... but we can handle it” and now, fans are in awe of him.
A fan commented, “never betting against a fine hockey-playing diva-coded man who’s a literal beast in the playoffs and has no more shits left to give”, while another fan wrote, “As much as I loathe the Oilers, Drai is the kind of player that has that dawg in him in the playoffs.”
A third fan spoke about the Leafs’ fans and wrote, “Please god let’s not start acting like the other Canadian markets are the same as Toronto folks. They are uniquely their own brand of unhinged and the only two Canadian markets that should be in the same sentence are Montreal and Vancouver.”

While things are going well for the Edmonton Oilers, the Toronto Maple Leafs’ players looked heartbroken after their loss against the Florida Panthers. The Leafs’ fans booed the players and it has sparked a major debate on whether such treatment towards players was justified.
