Adorned in formal attire, Laxman, having celebrated his birthday on Friday, participated in the temple rituals to seek blessings, where he was also honored by the temple officials.

"Thank you everyone for all your wonderful birthday wishes each in their own sweet way. Was blessed to have a wonderful darshan of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya. Jai Shri Ram," wrote Laxman on X.

The significant Pran-Pratistha ceremony took place in Ayodhya last January, with notable personalities from the Indian sports fraternity, including badminton player Saina Nehwal, Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha, and esteemed cricketers Anil Kumble and Venkatesh Prasad, making their way to the city to partake in the festivities.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among others, underscoring the national significance of the event.

The architectural and spiritual allure of the Ram Mandir is evident in its detailed carvings that portray a variety of Hindu deities across its pillars and walls.

The temple's ground floor houses the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, in the main sanctum sanctorum.

Access to the temple is facilitated through the eastern entrance, which leads visitors up 32 steps through the Singh Dwar.

The temple comprises five distinct Mandaps (Halls), namely Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap, each serving a unique purpose within the temple's complex.

Adjacent to the temple is the historic Sita koop, a well dating back to ancient times.

The temple complex also includes the restored ancient temple of Bhagwan Shiv at Kuber Tila, featuring a statue of Jatayu, further enriching the temple's historical and cultural significance.
