In just a matter of eight years, Bianca Belair has proven her grit and dedication, rising to the top ranks in WWE. She has multiple wins under her belt that include the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and the Women’s Tag Team Championship where she paired up with Jade Cargill. Additionally, she also competed at the main event of WrestleMania 37. Something that stands out the most about her is her unique look that is complete with her long braids that has become part of her signature look.
In a recent chat with Cody Rhodes in his show ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?’, she shared details about her signature braids and how she believes they have a mind of their own. She revealed, "What's crazy about that is a lot of people still, still to this day [say], 'They're adding sound effects. Oh, she put something in it to make that noise. Nope. There's no sound effects. Then there was Becky [Lynch]. She was the one that had all the marks on her stomach and people swore up and down that it was makeup ... It's real. The braid is a real thing. It has a mind of its own.”
Cody Rhodes then proceeded to ask her in the interview if the personality of her braids were more of a babyface or of a heel. Responding to this, Belair shared that when she feels like a heel, her braids also begin behaving like one. She shared that it starts hitting people for no good reason. She added, "I'm like, 'Girl, why did you do that? And she's like, 'Cause I felt like it.' As a babyface, her number one rule is do not touch my hair. So when people touch it ... then it's justified and that's when she comes out and she has to do her thing."
Bianca Belair enjoys the strong support of fans and the crowd reaction is proof
Belair also enjoys the strong support of fans. When Bianca, Cargill and Naomi entered the stage at Royal Rumble, the crowd went gaga over them. Commenting on the same, she told Gorilla Position, “Of course you saw the reaction with Jade, right? It’s Royal Rumble. We didn’t say anything, we didn’t do anything. We didn’t wrestle, we didn’t touch each other and the crowd was going crazy...I think just the two of us being in the ring, people are just buzzing for it and it’s magic to be made.”
On the work front, Bianca Belair has been going strong and steady as she recently cemented her position as ‘Mrs WrestleMania’ at WWE WrestleMania 40. She has had a streak of no defeats.
