A true pioneer in the world of female wrestling, Lita has not only won multiple championships but also secured her spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. She gained recognition by competing alongside male wrestlers, proving that women can stand toe-to-toe with the best in the business.

Recently, she voiced her opinion about the need for female wrestling to get more visibility and praised the increasing representation of women in WWE events. In addition to that, she has expressed her interest in facing off against one of the most renowned names of women’s wrestling today. It is none other than Rhea Ripley. “…..I think she would be great to face”: Lita Praises Ripley’s Performance and In-Ring Skills

Since making her return at the Royal Rumble in 2018, Lita has participated in a handful of matches, captivating fans with her enduring talent. Recently she appeared as a guest at Monopoly Event Q & A in Northern Ireland when a fan asked her which current wrestler she would like to fight against to which she didn’t hesitate to take Ripley’s name.

Lita praised the Australian star for her remarkable growth as a performer, stating, “I think somebody that I had a very brief interaction with in the Royal Rumble, Rhea Ripley, has just grown so much and added so many layers to her character, and I think she would be great to face.” Lita’s admiration for Ripley highlights not only her skills in the ring but also the depth of her character, which has evolved over time.

Rhea Ripley, for her part, has also spoken highly of Lita in previous interviews. She described Lita as a "wonderful human" and expressed a strong desire to face her someday, even going so far as to request that WWE set up a match between them. This mutual respect between the two wrestlers adds an exciting layer to the possibility of a future showdown.

Lita believes that a match with Ripley would challenge her and push her beyond her comfort zone. Their encounter was short-lived, as Lita was eliminated by Charlotte Flair shortly after they squared off.
