John Cena shares a powerful message for a Honda ad

John Cena has built an astonishing legacy to his name during his tenure in WWE. Although the superstar went on to become a Hollywood star and is already claiming fame, he is set for his retirement tour in 2025 as he has previously announced that he will hang up his wrestling boots after his tour.

Now, Cena has shared a powerful message on X where he landed his voice for the ad. “You won’t remember my name,” Cena wrote on X. In another post, Cena shared that he is proud to be part of the message, “Proud to be the voice behind this powerful message from @Honda.”

“You won’t remember my name. This is the last time you will see me at the top, my doubts will destroy my dreams. The more I seem to learn, the more I seem to lose. I want to carry on but not today. This is the point I give up but not today,” Cena’s voiceover said. However, the message reversed creatively revealing that there is still a fight in him.

The message seemingly echoes Cena’s retirement plans in WWE. Cena made his appearance in the 2024 Money in the Bank PLE and spoke to the Toronto crowd sharing his retirement plans. “The 2025 Royal Rumble will be my last,” Cena said at the time. “The 2025 Elimination Chamber will be my last. And I’m here tonight to announce that in Las Vegas, WrestleMania 2025 will be the last I compete in.”

“Thank you so much for letting me play in the house that you built for so many years,”he continued. “Thank you so much always for your voice because it’s really loud, and your honesty because it’s beautifully brutal.”

However, in a post-show press conference, the 16 time WWE World Champion shared that he will stick around WWE, “I’ve always said to the audience that WWE is my home and I love it,” Cena said. “Just because I physically feel I’m at my end, doesn’t mean I need to distance myself from something I love,” he added.
