Interesting things are meant to happen when a professional wrestler marries a literal billionaire. If someone asks to point out the richest face in pro wrestling, then many would say Vince McMahon. However, the former
WWE CEO isn’t the only billionaire associated with the wrestling landscape, but with a twist. Meet Ankur Jain.
Jain is an entrepreneur of Indian origin who founded a credit/debit card loyalty company called Bilt Rewards. The company is believed to be valued at around $3.1 billion. However, the most interesting thing about Jain is that he is married to a former WWE wrestler named Erika Hammond.
Ankur Jain: A Man of Wealth and Many Talents
Ankur Jain was born in 1990 in Bellevue, Washington. He grew up in the nearby city of Redmond and later attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, he founded the Kairos Society, an organization that supports and helps young entrepreneurs in the U.S. Apart from this, Jain is part of the X-Prize Foundation and serves as a member of the Pacific Council on Foreign Relations.
His list of achievements is long! In 2017, the World Economic Forum recognized him as a ‘Young Global Leader’. 5 years earlier, he was called ‘30 under 30: Solution Broker’ by the Christian Science Monitor. Moreover, Jain has also served as the Vice President of Product at Tinder. Jain’s net worth is estimated to be around a whopping $1.2 billion, with a 36% stake in Bilt Rewards.
Now coming to his love life, Jain met his wife, Erika Hammond, at the celebrity-favored gym Rumble Boxing, where she was employed as a fitness instructor. She is best known for competing for NXT back in 2010. Hammond once revealed that Jain approached and asked her out without any makeup and while she was covered in sweat. This quality impressed Hammond, and the couple got engaged in 2022. They finally tied the knot in an illustrious ceremony on 26 April 2024.
Their marriage was a star-studded affair as they exchanged vows at the foot of Egypt’s pyramids. Moreover, the ceremony was attended by several key business and political figureheads like Lance Bass, Michael Turchin, Rick Perry, and Brian Kelly.
