Chelsea Green’s return to the title picture did not go as planned at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. She aimed to reclaim the Women’s United States Championship from Zelina Vega, but what followed was a match full of pain and drama. Not only did Green lose the match, but she also suffered a broken nose after taking a hard 619 from Vega. Blood was visible as the match ended, and fans quickly noticed something was wrong. While the injury was serious, what happened after the match stole the spotlight?
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, a legend and fellow Canadian, reached out to support Green in a heartfelt and hilarious moment on social media. Their emotional and funny exchange became the talk of the wrestling world.
Chelsea Green's loss turned into a viral moment
The match lasted just over five minutes.
Chelsea Green, who had previously held the Women’s U.S. Title for 132 days, was looking to regain her crown. But
Zelina Vega’s strong performance and final 619 not only pinned Green but left her with a real injury. She was seen bleeding in the ring, and Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp later confirmed the nose break was legitimate.
There is no official update yet on how long Green will be out. It is also not clear if the match ended early due to the injury. Afterward, Chelsea expressed her frustration online by posting a brief message along with a photo showing her injured nose:
"I HATE #SNME"
Then came the moment fans adored.
Trish Stratus posted a kind message to Green after seeing what happened:
“I have a face mask that you can borrow,” Trish Stratus said in a post.
Chelsea’s reply was raw and chaotic but full of heart:
"CALL ME TRISHY CALL ME IMMEDIATELY JM SURE YOU HAVE MY NIMBER BEXAUSW WEVE ALWAYS BEEN SO CLODE AND YOUVE SUPPORRTED ME THROUGH THICK AND THIN BUT CALL ME ASAP PLZ"
The tweet quickly went viral, not just for its emotion but also the humor from its messy typos. It showed just how close Green and Stratus really are and gave fans a real moment of friendship.
Chelsea Green’s humor and kindness really stand out
Chelsea did not let the moment end there. She later shared a detailed and funny post about her reaction after being told her nose was broken.
"Me tonight !!! It’s absolutely INSANE!!!... It’s okay though because BIIIG things are coming… and y’all know I’m never down for long !!!"
Even though she was hurt and disappointed, Chelsea stayed positive. Her friendly vibe, with fans, and humor turned a painful night into one full of love and laughter. As of now, it is unknown how long she’ll be away from the ring. But one thing is for sure, Chelsea Green knows how to bounce back. With her talent and support from legends like Trish, it is only a matter of time before she is back stronger than ever.
