According to a fresh report from Fightful Select, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley have all officially signed contracts with AEW. The report clarifies that these deals were secured several weeks ago, meaning the trio is now firmly part of the AEW roster.

While MVP and Benjamin have already appeared on AEW television, fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of Bobby Lashley. According to the report, Lashley has an "impending debut" that could happen soon. Furthermore, the report suggests that MVP will likely serve primarily as a manager for the group, while Benjamin and Lashley will focus on in-ring competition.

Shelton Benjamin’s Debut on AEW Dynamite

In a backstage segment, Renee Paquette was interviewing MVP, but their conversation was interrupted by Prince Nana. Nana confronted MVP, reminding him that last week, he had made some bold comments about him and Swerve Strickland. Nana then pointed out that, although he's now a manager, he started out as a wrestler and wouldn’t hesitate to get back in the ring if needed.

MVP responded coolly, saying that it sounded like Nana was making a complaint, and he wasn’t in the business of handling complaints—but he knew someone who was. At that moment, MVP gestured off-screen, revealing Shelton Benjamin, sharply dressed in a suit. MVP introduced Benjamin as his business partner and humorously referred to him as the “president of our complaints department."

Shelton Benjamin, who last appeared in WWE in September 2023, has since been active in several independent promotions. Fans will recognize Benjamin and MVP from their time together in WWE as part of The Hurt Business, a faction that also included Bobby Lashley and Cedric Alexander. Lashley recently left WWE as well, adding intrigue to the group’s new chapter.

Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, the show celebrated its 5th anniversary, with a main event featuring a highly anticipated match between Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada.
