Jacob Henry(Son of Mark Henry) Opens Up About WWE Deal

Jacob Henry, son of WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, has been on the news ever since securing a deal with WWE. Interestingly, outside the Pro Wrestling competitions too, Jacob has been tasting victories. Recently, while speaking on ‘Busted Open’, Jacob has reflected on the process of his entry in WWE.

Henry revealed he has been having conversations with WWE for quite a while now. Although right now he is mainly focusing on his wrestling career as a Collegiate at the University of Oklahoma. Fans have been intrigued to know the style of wrestling that Jacob will apply and whether he will adapt the same style of Heavyweight wrestling that his father Mark possessed and ravelled in. Mark Henry is a former World Heavyweight Champion and a Hall of Famer in WWE. His villainous stint during the ‘Hall of Pain’ days in early the 2010’s made him a household name amongst the WWE fans. At that point of time, he was one of the most feared WWE superstars in the roster, securing victories against the likes of Randy Orton and Christian.

In a viral moment, Jacob had announced his WWE signing in the Remix Rumble event in Cleveland. Sharing the story behind that announcement, Jacob said that he felt inspired while sharing this news in the public eye. He was also surprised at the engagement this particular announcement received not just in social media but everywhere. It has led to a new found recognition for him and fans have been wanting to interact with the new WWE signee.

In conversation on ‘Busted Open’, Jacob stated “For me, my dad called me. I have been talking to the WWE for a while. This entire summer, we have just kind of been organizing time to sit down and have a conversation about signing a possible deal, an N.I.L. or whatever you like to call it and my dad called me and he said, ‘Hey, I'm doing the Remix Rumble, it's in Cleveland.’ He was like ‘I want you to come out, show up, have a good time.’ that's why my voice is gone, it's a little busted right now, but you know we are doing good and I came to the show and I got on stage and I was talking to the people and I felt like I had to say something and I was like, you know what? There’s not a better time, but then to announce it right now in front of all these people, all these fans and it meant the world to me and I didn't think it was gonna blow up the way it did. It blew up and now everywhere I go, people are recognising me and I get to talk to people.” WWE fans would definitely be keen to follow his progress and development in the coming few years.
