Liv Morgan suffered an unfortunate injury on WWE RAW, which has been determined to be legitimate.
Liv Morgan has been on top of her game ever since returning to
WWE last year following an injury. However, it seems that she has landed back on the sidelines once again. This came after an unfortunate incident led to Morgan suffering an injury on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, throwing rumored plans for her up in the air.
Liv Morgan was injured during a match on WWE RAW
On the June 16th edition of Monday Night RAW, Liv Morgan had a major presence on the entire show. She opened the show with Dominik Mysterio and got into an altercation with the WWE Women's World Champion, IYO Sky. The Miracle Kid was seen in multiple backstage segments throughout the night. In the last hour of the show, it was time for Morgan to step through the ropes for a one-on-one showdown against Kairi Sane.
The match began with a great start, with both women locking it up. However, an unfortunate spot occurred a few moments into the bout. Morgan took an awkward bump at the hands of Sane and injured her shoulder. The show went into commercial, and when it came back, it was announced that the match had been called off, giving Kairi Sane the win by forfeit. Morgan was shown being helped to the back.
After that, Michael Cole announced during the broadcast that the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champion suffered a dislocated shoulder. It was confirmed by Ringside News that the injury was indeed legitimate, and Morgan was evaluated after reaching the backstage area. Although it remains to be seen if it was a minor or major dislocation, which will determine how much time Morgan is set to miss.
Should Morgan suffer a significant injury, she could be out for months, which might lead to her missing a program with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella that began last week on RAW. Moreover, she could even miss the all-women's PLE, WWE Evolution, so it remains to be seen how severe Morgan's injury is following further evaluation.
