As reported by Fightful, WWE have trademarks filed for both “Tribal Chief” and “Dirty Dom”. Now, Tribal Chief is a nickname used by the biggest WWE star, Roman Reigns, while Dominik Mysterio is also often referred to as “Dirty Dom”. The fact that WWE have filed trademarks for the two stars could mean a lot of things.
However, it could also mean nothing at all. Chances are that WWE simply want to produce some new merchandise for Roman and Dominik, which explains why they would go forward and trademark their nicknames. However, this could also mean that both Roman and Dominik are really about to justify the meanings of their respective nicknames. Let’s take a look at what WWE’s trademark request could mean from a story POV?

Roman is known as the Tribal Chief because he is the leader of the Bloodline. However, his spot has been stolen by his little brother Solo Sikoa and Reigns has long been fighting to get his position back. Now that WWE have filed to trademark “Tribal Chief” right after Jimmy Uso’s return, fans have all the reason to think that Roman could be close to defeating Solo Sikoa and getting his Ula Fala back.
On the other hand, we have Dominik Mysterio who is also known as Dirty Dom because of all his heinous acts in the ring. The fact that WWE are trying to trademark his name could indicate that Dominik is on the verge of doing something evil yet again. He has betrayed Rhea Ripley a number of times, and has also not been completely loyal to Liv Morgan. So, it wouldn’t surprise everyone if Dom pulls out yet another heel turn out of his hat.
Like we said above, WWE filing for trademarks could mean that we’re going to get some story developments for these superstars. But it could also mean that we're just going to be getting some merch. Regardless of the reason, it sure is an exciting time to be a Roman Reigns or a Dominik Mysterio fan.
