Get ready, WWE fans in India, as Paul "Triple H" Levesque has announced the debut of all WWE shows for the country on the premier streaming platform, Netflix.
WWE ushered in a new era of professional wrestling upon its debut on Netflix. The global juggernaut signed a staggering $5 billion deal with the platform to stream all top WWE shows. They had the vision to reach out to a wider worldwide audience by partnering up with the streaming giant. The Netflix era began with a monumental debut show on January 6th, 2025, in Los Angeles. However, so far, the WWE shows have not been streaming on Netflix in its second-largest market outside the USA, India. But the wait is finally over, as Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque dropped a blockbuster announcement.
Triple H announced the debut of WWE on Netflix in India
In a video released by Netflix on YouTube, WWE CCO Paul "Triple H" Levesque announced that all WWE shows, such as RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and other Premium Live Events, will be available to the Indian audience on Netflix starting April 1st, 2025.
The official press release stated,
"Beginning April 1, 2025, Netflix will become the exclusive new home for WWE in India. As part of Netflix’s long-term partnership with the sports entertainment company, Indian fans will be able to stream all of WWE’s weekly flagship shows — Raw, NXT, and SmackDown — as well as WWE’s Premium Live Events including SummerSlam, Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble and the upcoming WrestleMania." The press release further added that WWE's partnership with Netflix will allow Indian fans access to all WWE-related content 52 weeks a year, with Hindi commentary available for its televised shows. The service will also include new and exclusive archival content from the WWE vault, which can be streamed live or on demand.

Netflix will also feature new and exclusive archival content from the WWE vault, and the ability to stream live or on demand."WWE's broadcast home for the Indian market had been Sony Sports Network for a lot of years. However, with its move to Netflix, it is surely the dawning of a new era for the passionate fanbase in India and the fans have been eagerly waiting to catch all the action on the streaming platform. So the road to April 1st has begun as Netflix is all set to deliver high quality professional wrestling content for the loyal fans of WWE in India.
