Randy Orton has been offered a new contract by WWE this year. He was previously signed with WWE in 2019, which was all set to expire by the end of 2024. Unfortunately, he was on an 18-month long sabbatical owing to a back injury in 2022. However, he made his return to WWE successfully in 2023.

Since then, The Viper has been unstoppable. Even after sustaining a “career- ending” injury back in 2022, Randy Orton bounced back to the arena in 2023. According to Fightful Select, Randy Orton has been offered a new contract from WWE which he has reportedly signed.

Regarding Randy Orton's contract extension, the higher-ups of WWE has revealed to Fightful Select stating, “Not confirming that they did sign a new deal, but the guaranteed money associated with contracts now is a drastic shift from what it was in 2019….There have been changes in our live event schedule, touring, international dates, media obligations, merchandise and social media that would be much more fair to just reach a new deal in my situations.”

The news of this contract renewal came just weeks ahead of the World Heavyweight Championship where Orton is set to participate on August 31, 2024. As per the reports of Fightful Select, Orton's new five-year deal, which he signed in 2024 with WWE, is supposed to expire by the end of 2029.

Third-generation professional wrestler, Randy Orton's career at WWE began when he signed with the company in 2000. Subsequently, he went on to become the youngest World Champion in WWE history on winning the title of World Heavyweight Championship. At age 27, Orton made history after becoming the youngest two- time WWE Champion. In a career spanning over two decades, Randy Orton has had rivalries with John Cena, Triple H, The Undertaker among others. Following his participation in the match at 2021 Survivor Series, Randy Orton became a new record holder, having successfully broken Kane's record of wrestling in most number of PPV matches in the history of WWE.
