Fans speculated that Flair, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, might have tried to return to the ring after he struggled to survive the match.

The Nature Boy said, "Hell yeah, I do," in response to a question about whether he still had one more match left in him during a recent interview. As the online reaction gained momentum, some fans asked for Flair to face Bronson Reed in his comeback match, which made Reed wonder on social media if that was a wise move:

“People keep saying they want me to TSUNAMI him [Flair] … yall really wanna watch someone die?”

Aware that fans and Reed were taking notice of his remarks, Flair responded to Reed and stated that he would not be playing one more match:

“No Return To The Ring Ever! Thankful For The Great Health And The Conditioning That Would Allow Me To. Bronson Reed Couldn’t Tsunami Me On His Best Day!”
