10. WrestleMania X – New York City

A Mania at the Madison Square Garden, and it is bound to drop in a banger that would have always kept the fans hooked. The show consisted of the iconic Dark Tag Team match, which pitted Jimmy del Ray and Tom Pritchard against The Bushwhackers, followed by the memorable battle of the Hart brothers.
Yokozuna’s rollicking war against Lex Luger was another sizzling contest of the evening, which the former eventually won via disqualification. However, eclipsing it all, the ladder match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels earned a legendary tag. The main event featuring Bret Hart and Yokozuna saw the fans go absolutely bonkers as Hart eventually seized the title.

This edition of the Showcase of Immortals will always be known for The Undertaker losing his second match in the PLE. The Undertaker’s iconic WrestleMania streak of 21-0 came to an end after Brock Lesnar defeated him. However, that wasn’t the end of it all. The main event of the PLE was another unforgettable jiffy essayed in the folklore of pro-wrestling, Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H to enter the triple-threat battle for the WWE Undisputed title. Eventually, against Randy Orton and Batista, Bryan held onto his own and emerged as the champion, marking an emotional culmination of a sensational journey along the way.

Another Mania featuring the majestic excellence of the Dead Man while Shawn Michaels, despite showing resilience of the ages was compelled to retire after what would go down in history as one of the most remarkable matches of all time. In what was a humdinger event, the WWE Championship match wasn’t the main event of the show. John Cena and Batista dished out a fine battle, but could only find themselves in the penultimate match of the evening as the main slot was reserved for Taker and HBK. Another significant event of the evening saw Rey Mysterio destroying CM Punk despite the latter having the support of Luke Gallows and Serena in his corner.

Earlier in the Attitude Era, if there was one rivalry that defined it and redefined it over and over again, it was definitely that of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. WrestleMania XIX saw the last battle of it all on the grandest stage of entertainment. The main event featured two icons of the sport as the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, defeated Kurt Angle to win the WWE Championship. Another collision that bagged the limelight back then and still remains one of the highest-rated match-ups in WrestleMania was that of Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels, who were at the pinnacle of their fitness.

WrestleMania has always been about very special guests, and standing today, only if America had known that their current president was willing to put his hair on the line would it have been crazy. Donald Trump and Vince McMahon fought the battle of billionaires with their hair at stake, a contest that saw Trump and Bobby Lashley emerge victorious. In another fine banger, The Undertaker extended his streak against Batista in the World Heavyweight Championship Match.

4. WrestleMania 29 – New Jersey

WrestleMania in New Jersey was all about brutality. Triple H and Brock Lesnar didn’t stop at anything as they ripped each other apart in a no holds barred match-up. John Cena faced The Rock in a rematch for the title from last year and Cena eventually seized the win and the title too. The Undertaker and CM Punk were relentless against each other but eventually the Phenom survived the clash of the two iconic superstars.

3. WrestleMania 39 – California

It was the beginning of something mind-blowing across two significant nights. Mania 39 also saw the start of one of the biggest rivalries in recent times, Cody Rhodes vs the Bloodline. However, before the two juggernauts collided, it was also an incredible display of athleticism from Seth Rollins and Logan Paul in their sensational battle. In the war of family, Rey Mysterio prevailed over his son, Dominik Mysterio, while Edge fought out one in a lifetime battle against ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor. Eventually in the main-event, Roman Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the expense of Cody Rhodes.

2. WrestleMania 40 – Pennsylvania

Once again, a two-night event saw the wrestling world tune in with utter excitement. The Rock and Roman Reigns beat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the first night to set up a Bloodline Rules main event for Night 2. In another sensational war, Drew McIntyre prevailed over Seth Rollins to walk away with the World Heavyweight Championship. There were more exciting matches in the build-up to the main event as LA Knight and AJ Styles put up an iconic show while Logan Paul walked out victorious from a brilliant triple-threat battle against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. However, all of it crashed under the weight of the main event, where Cody Rhodes went on to end Roman’s title reign, while the clash was brimming with unpredictable twists and turns featuring the likes of The Rock, The Undertaker, and John Cena as guests.

Despite all the famous matches on the card for Mania 28. If there is one scene that would remain etched onto the hearts of the wrestling fans and experts across the globe alike, that would be the one where Taker and Shawn Michaels would carry Triple H on their shoulder, marking the end of an era. The Rock and John Cena fought out a fine and long rivalry while CM Punk had a great fight with Chris Jericho.
