Will Joe Hendry Join WWE Completely? TNA Contract Details Revealed

Joe Hendry is a unique wrestler with a fresh idea of wrestling and entrance music. He is one of the few superstars who have benefitted from the TNA-WWE crossover, as he has made a name for himself as an entertaining superstar with good enough wrestling skills. The NXT fans have been demanding him to join the WWE completely, and leave the TNA company. Joe Hendry made his first NXT appearance on June 18, as a representative of TNA in the 25 man battle royal, to decide the number one contender for the NXT title. Contrary to the popular opinion, Hendry couldn't survive much and was eliminated by Frankie Kazarian in no time. Following that, he fought his first singles match in NXT, at the NXT: The Great American Bash, which he won comprehensively against Joe Coffey. After the match finished, he even opened up about being on the August 13th episode of NXT, and he stated that the fans will not even need to call his name to make him appear, in a funny manner. “I like it here and I might just stay for a lot longer”, said Joe Hendry.

After the fans demanded for him to stay in WWE’s NXT brand forever, the contract that Hendry has with TNA currently, has been revealed. As per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Hendry’s present contract with TNA will run through till the ending of 2025. Now this might disappoint his WWE fans as he still has over a year’s contract left with TNA. In the past, WWE has been able to negotiate a wrestler’s contract with other companies and have tried to buy them out. But, some reliable sources have indicated that this time it may not be as easy, since the discussion about Joe coming to WWE permanently, has not yet begun with TNA.

Along with Joe Hendry, several other TNA members have come to NXT, to have a match or two. The current TNA Women's Knockout World Champion, Jordynne Grace too fought for the NXT Women's Championship against Roxanne Perez, which she lost narrowly. Other superstars such as Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel too have some experiences in the NXT. This crossover between WWE and TNA has been successful in engaging the fans of both the companies together. What the future holds for this crossover is yet to be seen, but till now it has been a successful partnership. Notably, Joe Hendry’s involvement in the NXT fixtures has greatly helped and boosted the chances of this partnership succeeding in the future.
