Diamond Dallas Page signs new WWE Legends deal

Diamond Dallas Page announced that he signed his WWE Legends contract following Bad Blood on Saturday. He expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking WWE for showing the legends the respect. Page, a former WCW star, shared that he had never felt fully accepted in WWE before, but last night was different.

“The legends weren’t just seen as guys and girls who used to be wrestlers. Last night we were seen as TRUE legends…superstars from the past that paved the way. Treated with the ultimate respect & kindness from everyone, which I believe is all we’re really looking for,” Page wrote in a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter).

The former WCW superstar further revealed that he had signed a new Legends deal with WWE, “When I got home tonight, I signed my Legends deal and sent it in,” Page wrote.

Detailing the event, Page wrote, “Last night, WWE Bad Blood was one of the first pay-per-views I really enjoyed from beginning to end. Got to the building early to spend some quality time with Cody Rhodes, but he was so busy, it’s something we’ll have to do at a later date. WWE actually had all of the legends pretty busy as well.”

He went on to thank Triple H, “I want to thank Paul Levesque, a.k.a. @TripleH for a hell of a time With him at the helm of creative, along with the new owners of TKO Group, I personally had one of my favorite times at a #WWE event. Knowing my HOF career was made in WCW, regardless of how many close friends I had there at WWE, I never felt totally welcomed.”

Triple H took a moment to respond to the lengthy and warm post from the legendary star. “Thank you for the kind words about the team at WWE. We loved having so many legends in building at Bad Blood. You helped us get here and we are all eternally grateful,” Chief Content Officer and head of creative at WWE, Triple H responded.
