The Godfather has now explained how he felt about the incident and what he recollects about the entire night. Let’s take a look at what he had to say during his conversation with Chris Van Vliet:

“We were looking at the monitors, and then it all went down. I just remembered what Owen looked like when he came through the curtain, and other than that, I don't. I called my wife right away, and she tells me a lot of things that I said that I don't remember, but she tells me, 'You said this, and you said that.' And then I'm like, 'Well, I don't remember that.' So, it was a blur after that. I don't remember how or when I found out that there was no match or what's going on. I really don't remember,”

The fact that Vince McMahon kept the show going even after Owen Hart fell to his demise is something that people have come to frown upon 25 years after the event. If Owen was still with us, he would surely be an absolute legend to the people. The fact that Charles Wright doesn’t even remember anything about what happened after Owen’s fall is proof of just how much important Owen was to his colleagues.
