WWE RAW is going to air its first episode on Netflix, on January 6th, 2025. In a huge leap of faith, WWE has signed a whopping $5 billion deal with the global streaming platform, for the live streaming of the Red Brand for 10 years. Interestingly, it will only be available to selected regions after its Netflix debut, from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, as confirmed by the official website of Netflix.
It has been officially confirmed by Netflix that the upcoming partnership of WWE RAW with Netflix, under which it will air live from 6th of January 2025, will only be accessible to selected parts of the world, apart from the US. Earlier it was declared that RAW will be exclusively available in the United States and its fellow territories. The Marshall Islands, Micronesia, the Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, etcetera are some of the territories which will have access to the exclusive RAW episodes on Netflix. Talking about other countries, apart from the US, countries like Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, et cetera will have exclusive access to WWE RAW. In Europe, countries like the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, the UK are going to have special access.
In the Asian continent, the Red Brand of WWE will be available in Indonesia, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Turkey. The WWE fans of New Zealand and Australia will also be able to watch RAW, from the date of its debut on Netflix. Another development that has come out regarding this partnership, is that some special archival WWE content will be available on Netflix after the debut of RAW. Not all the archival episodes will be available instantly, but gradually Netflix is going to release some special archival content of WWE and RAW, which will be downloadable as the time goes on.
