WWE Raw updates: All superstars confirmed for the show, IC title match, and more

The WWE Universe will witness the March 9 episode of RAW from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The show will continue to build feud and storylines on the road to WrestleMania 42. From a major title match to a high-stakes Gauntlet bout, this week's RAW is looking to be an exciting show with top names advertised to make their appearances on the red brand.Penta had a remarkable night on Monday Night RAW last week when he dethroned Dominik Mysterio and won the WWE Intercontinental Championship. This marked his first title victory since making his debut in the Stamford-based promotion a year ago. However, on this week's edition of RAW, Penta will have to defend his newly won title. His opponent will be the 'Original' El Grande Americano, who is looking to regain momentum after returning from injury at the 2026 Royal Rumble event and feuding with the Los Americanos.Apart from the title match, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has announced two more matches that will take place on the red show this week. A singles clash will see the two dominant stars, Rusev and Oba Femi, compete inside the ring for the first time. This came following the confrontation between them on RAW last week. On the other hand, a No.1 contender's Gauntlet match has been set to determine AJ Lee's first challenger for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. The participants in the match are Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Asuka, IYO Sky, Raquel Rodriguez, and Ivy Nile.
