According to Deadline, WWE star John Cena is set to star in a new live-action film titled Matchbox. The movie, produced by Skydance and Mattel Films, will be distributed by Apple Original Films. It’s inspired by Mattel's famous die-cast toy cars, which have been a beloved part of childhood since their creation in 1953.

The iconic Matchbox brand began when Jack Odell invented the toy to fit into a matchbox for his daughter, and it has since become a global phenomenon.
