NEW DELHI: Dakota Kai, renowned for her tenacious performances in WWE, has opted for a bold change in her appearance.
The wrestling sensation made her return to WWE at the 2022 SummerSlam after a brief departure from the company. Previously, she had been released by WWE following a stint in NXT, where she formed a formidable alliance known as Damage CTRL alongside Bayley and IYO SKY.
This trio made waves, with Kai and SKY securing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions.
Following the 2023 WWE Draft, Damage CTRL transitioned to the SmackDown brand from Raw. Unfortunately, Kai encountered a setback on the May 12 edition of SmackDown, sustaining a torn ACL during a tag team match. After undergoing surgery, she faced a projected recovery period of 9-12 months.
Making a remarkable comeback at SummerSlam, Kai witnessed her Damage CTRL colleague IYO SKY successfully cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase to capture the Women’s Title from Becky Lynch.
Amidst the ongoing storyline, Kai has emerged with a striking hair transformation, opting for a combination of blonde and dark tresses. This fresh look adds a new dimension to her persona and is generating buzz among fans.
As Damage CTRL continues to evolve with the addition of Asuka and Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai's revamped appearance is poised to make waves in the WWE universe.
