Here are the top five moments from Monday Night Raw (9/30)

1) CM Punk and Drew McIntyre meet inside the Hell in a Cell

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre finally met inside the Hell in a Cell ahead of their HIAC match at Bad Blood. This moment has been a long time coming and was set up to be one of the most electrifying and rage filled promos we’ve seen recently. Punk and McIntyre couldn't be trusted to be alone with each other, so Adam Pearce made the smart decision of separating the two by posting security inside the cell.

Both McIntyre and Punk have promised to inflict a great deal of pain upon each other, with McIntyre even going as far as to say that Punk’s wife will leave him after seeing his state after the match. On the other hand, The Best in the World was also confident that he would punish McIntyre and come away with the win at Bad Blood 2024. Seeing the hate McIntyre and Punk have for each other is reason enough to tune into Bad Blood.

2) Xavier Woods rips off Rey Mysterio's mask

Xavier Woods finally got to settle the score against Rey Mysterio after getting into an altercation with him last week. This was a match that made Mysterio look good, even though he ended up losing. Rey dominated a major portion of the match and was having his way with Xavier Woods until the very end.

However, while going for a slam, Woods ended up grabbing Rey Mysterio’s mask and ripped it off his face. Rey, who was busy hiding his face, couldn’t fight back and Woods ended up pinning him to get the win. Overall, this was one of the better matches tonight and deserves a spot on our list.

3) R-Truth returns to WWE RAW

WWE legend R-Truth finally marked his return to WWE RAW tonight. Mere moments after coming back, Truth reunited with his tag team partner The Miz after interrupting a conversation between him and Braun Strowman. Truth informed Miz that he had got them a match against AOP, however, the match did not unfold the way R-Truth expected it to.

Shortly after The Miz and R-Truth took the ring against AOP, Truth found himself cornered by his opponents. He somehow escaped the onslaught and tagged in The Miz, in the hopes of getting some rest on the sidelines, but his partner had other plans. The Miz entered the ring and within moments he turned heel and attacked R-Truth before leaving him to deal with AOP by himself. Seeing R-Truth return and The Miz turning heel was easily one of the best moments of the night.

4) Seth Rollins returns during Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman

Seth Rollins has been missing from the WWE since the RAW episode after SummerSlam 2024. Rollins took an extended leave after he was attacked by Bronson Reed, who ended up hitting Rollins with six back to back Tsunami splashes. Reed attacked Rollins so viciously that the latter was left spitting out blood after the assault took place.

Well, Rollins finally recovered and made his highly awaited return to WWE tonight. He showed up during Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman’s brutal Last Monster Standing match. Before Rollins showed up, Reed seemed to be putting up a decent fight and could’ve even won. However, Rollins showed up at the perfect time and hit Bronson with his signature Stomp to ensure that Braun Strowman would be the last man standing.

From Bronson and Braun’s entertaining fight to Rollins’ electrifying return, this match had it all and was easily one of the best moments from tonight.

5) Jey Uso makes his first entrance as the WWE Intercontinental Champion

After four years in WWE, Jey Uso finally managed to capture his first singles title during last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Tonight, a week later, Jey finally made his first entrance as WWE’s Intercontinental Champion. Jey’s entrances are always entertaining and manage to get the crowd on its feet, but tonight was something out of the ordinary.

Uso started his entrance backstage with some fans and then descended the stairs in the stands while he made his way to the ring. It was clear to see just how happy Jey was to be champion, and the crowd's reaction also showed that the fans were happy for him. Seeing Jey Uso finally get his flowers after all these years was easily one of the better moments of the night.
