New images of Moto X (4th-generation) leaked, show all-metal design
New leaks of Motorola's upcoming flagship smartphone Moto X have surface. The latest images come courtesy Evleaks and HelloMotoHK. The new pictures show an all-metal design, a large camera component and what appears to be speakers on the bottom of the back panel.
There are not much other details available about the smartphone except that it is likely to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
The forthcoming Moto X is likely to be the the first Motorola phone in which the new owner Lenovo will have a significant role.
So far, most Motorola smartphones have come with a plastic body. Some have also come with other material like leather, rubber silicone and wood in the form of optional backcovers.
Some sketchy images leaked of the smartphone last year too hinted at an all-new design for the smartphone. Other than the design, image also suggested that Motorola may swap single, long volume rocker with two volume up/down buttons. The device may also have power/sleep key above these.
According to an earlier WSJ report, Motorola is likely to launch the smartphone in July.
Meanwhile, the company is expected to launch its G4 and G4 Plus smartphones in India later this month. The Lenovo-owned smartphone brand has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for May 17 where it is likely to launch the devices.
Both the handsets are speculated to sport metal frame body with a plastic back.
