NEW DELHI: The man found dead at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino on Wednesday was an Apple employee. Santa Clara County Sheriff’s office in California is yet to confirm how he died.
Matt Keller of ABC7 News had earlier reported viaTwitter that there was a gun nearby. However, the public information officer for the sheriff’s office ruled out any foul play.
"No one else was involved, there was no danger to the public, there was no foul play. We don't think (the incident) involved criminal activity,” the officer confirmed in a report by USA Today.
In a statement to The Verge, Apple said, "We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of a young. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends, including the many people he worked with here at Apple. We are working to support them however we can in this difficult time."
The dead body was found on Wednesday morning. The details of the incident are still unknown.
