YU Televentures appoints Shubhodip Pal as COO
NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker YU Televentures today said it has appointed Shubhodip Pal as Chief Operating Officer.
This is Pal's second stint with Micromax, which is the parent company of YU Televentures.
He had served as Chief Marketing Officer of Micromax between December 2012 and February 2015, according to Pal's LinkedIn profile.
He replaces Amarinder Dhaliwal, who has decided to explore newer opportunities, the company said in a statement.
In his new role, Pal will help build engaged communities and closely work with developer's community and take YU to the next level of growth, it added.
"As YU opens a new chapter in its growth trajectory, we are excited to have Shubhodip back with us and welcome him on board. Being one of the best marketing veterans, he has a proven ability to create strategic clarity, drive innovation and growth, ensure disciplined execution, and deliver results," YU founder Rahul Sharma said.
With over 19 years of consumer marketing experience, Pal has also worked with Samsung India, ABN AMRO, Hewlett-Packard and BLYK India.
