Sony India has launched the Bravia Theatre Quad, a home audio system promising a cinematic experience. The system combines technology and design to deliver immersive sound quality.

Sony Bravia Threatre Quad audio system: Features
The Bravia Theatre Quad introduces 360 Spatial Sound Mapping, creating a three-dimensional audio environment. The company claims that It replicates the immersive soundscapes of professional cinemas, bringing the big-screen experience into living rooms.

The new sound mapping automatically adjusts audio for optimal performance based on the room's layout and listener position. It measures the relative height and position of each speaker, room acoustics, and listener position, then adjusts the audio settings accordingly.

The audio system also comes with Voice Zoom technology that aims to enhance dialogue clarity, ensuring crystal-clear speech even amidst action-packed scenes or noisy environments. It recognises and amplifies human speech for crisp dialogue.

The Bravia Theatre Quad offers compatibility with IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos technologies, delivering premium audio quality that meets rigorous standards set by IMAX and Dolby.

The all-new Bravia Connect App allows users to control the Bravia Theatre Quad's settings from their smartphones or tablets, providing intuitive navigation and personalized audio adjustments.

The system integrates with Alexa, Airplay, and Spotify, enabling voice control and access to various streaming platforms.

The system includes four wireless speakers that can be mounted on tables or walls and one control box with HDMI (eARC) and Optical connectivity options. Users can connect their TV using HDMI or Optical cables. The speaker setup also comes with Bluetooth connectivity.

For enhanced bass, Sony offers optional wireless subwoofers: the SA-SW5 with a 300W deep bass from a 180mm driver with a passive radiator, or the SA-SW3 with a 200W sound from a compact bass reflex subwoofer with a 160mm driver.

Pricing and availabilityThe Bravia Theatre Quad will be available across Sony retail stores, the ShopatSC.com portal, major electronic stores, and e-commerce websites in India from April 22, 2024, onwards at a price of Rs 1,99,990.
