Asus announces ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) with AMD Ryzen AI processor

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) today launched the latest version of its acclaimed Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. The Zephyrus G16 (2024) boasts a total of 402 TOPS AI processing power, promising to revolutionise gaming, productivity, and content creation.


The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor features 12 cores, 24 threads, and a built-in AMD Ryzen AI XDNA 2 NPU capable of 50 TOPS AI performance. Combined with the 31 TOPS from the CPU and integrated Radeon 890M graphics, the Zephyrus G16 is well-equipped for AI-enabled applications and the latest Windows Copilot tools.


The newest edition Zephyrus G16 also comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, offering up to 321 TOPS of AI performance at its maximum 105W TGP. This enables advanced features like DLSS 3 super resolution for improved gaming visuals and performance.


The Zephyrus G16 (2024) maintains a thin-and-light design with a CNC-milled aluminium chassis. The laptop features a 16-inch ROG Nebula OLED display with a 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.


Other notable features include 32GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory, support for the new SD Express 7.0 standard, and WiFi 7 connectivity. The Zephyrus G16 is the first ROG laptop to support WiFi 7 for faster speeds and reduced network congestion.
